On Saturday, July 31, ProSource360 held its Second Annual Crab Feast and Barbecue in Madison Manor Park in Arlington, VA. This was the first time that many of our staff met each other in person, and over 70 team members from across the company attended with their families for an afternoon of fun, team building and great food!

“We interviewed someone yesterday, and they asked,’what’s the culture like at ProSource360?’ said Ben Skyles, President and CEO, during his remarks. “I said, ‘I can’t tell you, but why don’t you come see, and meet some of our people? You can see better than I can tell you!’”

“This is our tenth anniversary,” Skyles continued. “We care about creating a future and opportunities for you and your families, and we’re keeping that in mind as we develop our growth strategy.”

Thames Hillman, COO, added, “It’s all about building mature processes, and performance management.” He went on to thank all of the delivery teams, especially the Program Managers. “Now I know why I chose to come here. Every one of you is awesome!”

The Senior Leadership Team also took time to recognize the contributions of several individuals:

  • Anthony “Tony” Bell was promoted to Director of DoD (Department of Defense) Operations. “I want to thank Ben and Thames for recognizing the talent and skill that I’ll be able to bring to really elevate ProSource360 to the next level. When I came out of the federal government, I had a lot of opportunities and a lot of offers, and I wanted to make sure that I took the right one. This is it!”

  • Ashley Mitchell was commended for her work in standing up the FreshSTART program. This program is designed to support incoming first year students who are focusing on a career in STEM disciplines. The program was piloted at Florida A&M University, where Ashley received her undergraduate degree, JD and MBA.

  • In turn, Ashley recognized Kevin Friel for his exemplary work on the NIH NIDDK contract. “Kevin has been the engine behind the work we’re doing over there. I am grateful for the work and the commitment that he has demonstrated.”
